Challenge
Codex is a Norwegian law firm who wanted to move upmarket. To get more B2B clients, Codex needed to reposition from a traditional, corporate law firm to a more premium and modern offering without losing approachability for private clients.
The brief was really about positioning, but once that shifted, the brand had to follow.

Process
Moving upmarket meant finding a visual language that felt considered. We landed on Swiss design as the reference point: a strict grid that looks rigid until you start working inside it. Then you realize how much freedom there is.
That's exactly what Codex does. They know every law. They know how to move within them.
That idea drove everything, the typography, the layout, the restraint.

Result
The website got stripped back to one clear path. Fewer buttons. Less noise.
The result is a brand that finally matched the firm. A refined identity that moves Codex away from generic legal aesthetics into a more distinctive, premium space.
